Magnetic field motion as the Mind Orbit turns

In the Finite Element Analysis animation below, the contour lines indicate the direction of the Earth's magnetic field combined with the field from the Mind Orbit. The closer the lines are to each other, the higher the field strength. Without the Mind Orbit, the Earth's field lines would all run vertically, as shown in the second image below.
