The device is operated just like the
popular exercise balls. First, you wrap the starting cord around the rotor and give it a
sharp pull to get it spinning. Then you rotate the Mind Orbit with your wrist in time with
the slow precession of the rotor, gradually speeding it up until the rotor is spinning on
its axis at high speed, and the ball is offering stiff resistance to your wrist motion. It takes a little practice, but it is very easy and enjoyable once
you get the hang of it. The exercise balls are immensely popular in their own right, so
you get two things in one!
The speed and orientation of the ball should be varied
during a session. A good technique is to speed the ball up and then gradually reduce it as
low as possible before repeating.
